I guess it's time to start posting again. I am done pouting about deleting my blog and am itching to share things. This whole CPSIA business is really heartbreaking, especially the effect it will have on children's books if left as is. I am a serious bibliophile who frequents thrift stores and yard sales, and even antique shops for books for my children to read. They do not eat the books, nor do they suck on the books. They also do not lick the covers of the books. A fork or chicken bone poses more danger to my children, yet vintage children's books are outlawed. I better hold my tongue, or they might decide to outlaw forks and chicken bones, too.

And wouldn't you know, some of my very favorite finds, and some of my children's very favorite books, are now illegal to sell (and hence difficult to buy) thanks to the CPSIA.

Nice.

But that's not all I want to share. There is quite a bit of knitting going on around here. And some sewing, too. And baking, there is always baking and cooking going on.
